Maurizio Mucciola is an architect and architectural photographer based in London. With over 20 years of international experience, he has worked on significant cultural and residential projects, including the V&A Dundee, and teaches architectural design at The Bartlett School of Architecture.
As both architect and photographer, he looks at buildings with the eye of a designer, attentive to how space, material and detail come together. Over the years, he has also photographed architecture worldwide, combining personal curiosity with a way of learning from buildings through the camera. This exchange between design and photography is central to his work.
Maurizio is particularly interested in adaptive reuse, using photography to investigate and record the processes and transformations of architecture in transition.
