Owain Lloyd-JamesMCIfAis Head of Places Strategy at Historic England. He leads for Historic England on issues relating to place shaping. Having previously worked as an archaeologist and a civil servant, he joined English Heritage (now Historic England) in 2007. Most recently he drafted the strategic case for the High Streets Heritage Action Zones programme, a programme of investment worth £95m, the biggest ever single investment by Government in the UK’s built heritage.
