Peter Freeman is a Co-Founder of Argent, the regeneration specialist behind some of the UK’s most complex and influential mixed-use developments. Over more than four decades, he has played a leading role in shaping long-term, partnership-led regeneration, most notably the transformation of King’s Cross in London.
From 2018 to 2024, Peter served as Chair of Homes England, overseeing the strategic direction of the Government’s housing and regeneration agency during a period of significant change. He is widely respected for his ability to bridge the public and private sectors, with a consistent focus on high-quality placemaking, long-term stewardship and delivering inclusive, sustainable communities.
He was awarded a CBE for services to housing and regeneration in 2019 and this year awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of the Built Environment
