Ryan is Head of Living and Commercial at HB Reavis UK, where he leads on business planning for new developments. In recent years, Ryan delivered Worship Square before securing planning consent for 10 Leake Street.
At Worship Square, Ryan was instrumental as HB Reavis delivered their first fully net zero carbon building, by adopting an internal construction management approach. Located between Shoreditch and the City, the 140,000 sq ft workspace was fully pre-let prior to completion. The project secured BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum, SmartScore Platinum and WiredScore Platinum and was developed as one of the lowest embodied carbon and operational energy buildings in London, winning multiple awards such as the GRI Decarbonization Project of the Year.
Development of 10 Leake Street in Waterloo reflects HB Reavis' strategic entry into the UK living, where Ryan will play a central role in HB Reavis's first UK PBSA project. With 233 beds, the scheme will provide the best located student accommodation within a short walking distance to the London School of Economics and Kings College providing the highest quality living experience to London’s students.
As a qualified architect, Ryan began his career at Make Architects, joining HB Reavis in 2021. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of development across office, residential, hospitality and retail, leveraging his background in architecture to translate design into commercial performance.
