Sarah Atkinson works as Community Relations Manager for the Royal Docks Team, which is a joint initiative of the Mayor of London and the Mayor of Newham overseeing the regeneration of the Royal Docks. She has worked as a consultant on urban planning in London and on urban development policy for UN Agencies. Sarah’s background is in civic participation in service design and she has managed programmes for international NGOs and worked with UN Agencies in Africa, Asia and Europe to redesign services across youth participation, education, health and human rights. She has a particular interest in using collaboration and human centred design processes to support social innovation in the built environment.
