Sasha Katz is a Structural Engineer at Price & Myers. Having grown up among London’s landmarks - from St Paul’s to The Gherkin - she’s always been fascinated by how buildings reflect both creativity and technical skill. At school, she was drawn to both art and design technology as well as maths and science, so engineering felt like the perfect way to combine her favourite subjects. During her Architectural Engineering degree, Sasha gained a broad understanding of the built environment, studying structural engineering, architecture, and building physics. This gave her an appreciation of collaboration across disciplines and how anticipating others’ needs leads to more effective design.

Since joining Price & Myers, Sasha has worked on several housing projects, including The Steyne Estate - a rewarding scheme addressing London’s housing challenge through three concrete buildings of varying size, one of which achieved Passivhaus standards. Outside of work, Sasha loves to travel and sketch buildings she visits. She’s also a keen knitter, crafter, and ice hockey goalie - a sport she took up while studying in America.
