Sasha is Sustainability Lead at Bell Phillips and a certified Passivhaus Designer. As an architect-in-training, he has worked on housing and mixed-use projects at varying scales, including a 500-home regeneration scheme in the London Borough of Newham and South Ockenden, a 30-home brownfield development in Thurrock.
He played a key role in the William Sutton Prize research, for which Bell Phillips won in 2023, exploring a new low-carbon housing vernacular for low and mid-rise dwellings. His Master's thesis on circular business models for the built environment was published at the World Building Conference in 2025, and he was co-nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal for a regenerative masterplan project in Krakow, Poland.
Beyond practice, Sasha contributed to the ACAN Circular Economy Design Guide in 2023 and continues to engage with climate-focused volunteer groups. As part of the next generation of architects, he is committed to advancing sustainable design practices and addressing one of the great challenges of our time: climate change.
