Sevra Davis is Director of Architecture Design and Fashion at the British Council and Commissioner of the British Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. At the British Council, she works to create collaborative and international exchange opportunities for the global design sector. She has commissioned the British Pavilion in Venice since 2019 and won the Special Mention for the a National Pavilion in both 2023 and 2025. She trained in architecture and has worked as an architect, urban designer and leading design advocate. She speaks and writes frequently about the role of design in an increasingly complex world with a particular focus on design for the circular economy.
