Stuart Syddell is a Senior Partner at Stace and a member of their Management Board, leading the Quantity Surveying team. He joined Stace in 1991 as an apprentice Quantity Surveyor having gained a First-Class degree from the University of Greenwich, obtained his chartership in 1999, and became Partner in 2008.

Stuart has delivered projects across sectors, including residential, Build to Rent (including HRBs), senior living, student accommodation, commercial, retail, leisure, healthcare, and sport. His clients include Grainger PLC, Greystar, Landsec, Muse Places, Tottenham Hotspur FC, and TfL. Known for his collaborative and solutions-focused approach, Stuart is passionate about mentoring future surveyors. He regularly speaks at Reading University, attends careers fairs, and was instrumental in reintroducing Stace’s apprenticeship scheme in 2018.

In his free time, Stuart enjoys cycling, golf, following his football team, Formula 1, and rugby. With two daughters who swim competitively, Stuart is also a qualified J1 swimming official, often found poolside on weekends, stopwatch in hand, proudly supporting the next generation in and out of the water.
