Since joining Skidmore, Owings & Merrill(SOM) in 2018, Sukriye “Rae” Robinson is a Design Associate based in the London studio. With a human-centric approach at the core of her work, Rae focuses on designing for the evolving needs and aspirations of end users.

She has contributed to a range of research initiatives that challenge conventional thinking around sustainability and design, with a particular focus on materials. Recognised as an industry expert, Rae serves on the IWBI WELL Advisory Board for Materials, collaborates with LETI to advance low-carbon material specification and procurement, and helped shape the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.
