Tom Gibson
Tom joined Haworth Tompkins in 2012 and has been actively involved in many of the studio’s housing, theatre and community projects. He is currently leading on a range of international new-build arts projects including a cutting edge research and performance facility for the American Repertory Theatre and Harvard University in Allston, MA, USA, the first new musical theatre in Vienna, Austria for over 100 years for Ambassador Theatre Group, and a flexible meanwhile venue in Canary Wharf, London for Troubadour Theatres. 

Prior to this, Tom was involved in the transformation of the Grade I listed Bristol Old Vic and many of the studio’s most prominent theatre projects, including the Stirling prize winning Liverpool Everyman, Chichester Festival Theatre, and the National Theatre Futures Project. 

Tom is a core member of studios Sustainability and Regenerative Design team, serves as a Steering Group member and trustee of UK Architects Declare CIO, and has been a guest critic at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Buffalo, and the University of East London.
