As part of NLA’s Awards programme, this Test & Learn event showcases award-winning projects and the lessons behind the ideas shaping London.
As part of NLA’s Awards programme, this event brings together the teams behind a selection of award-winning projects to share what they tested, what they learned, and how their work is shaping London’s built environment.

Featuring projects recognised across categories ranging from Meanwhile Activation to Workplaces, Housing and Overall Winner, the evening offers insight into the ideas, decisions and trade-offs behind some of London’s most impactful recent schemes. From adaptive reuse and civic transformation to housing delivery and public realm, speakers will reflect on the ambitions that guided their projects and the challenges they encountered along the way.

Presentations will follow a rapid-fire Test & Learn format, with each team using a concise set of slides. Together, these short provocations will highlight how award-winning teams are thinking beyond boundaries, leveraging innovation, and working in partnership to deliver better outcomes for London.

The talks will be followed by a short panel discussion and audience Q&A, offering an opportunity to reflect collectively on what these lessons mean for future projects across the city.

This members-only event is ideal for practitioners seeking practical insight, honest reflection, and inspiration from projects recognised by the NLA Awards expert assessors and international jury.
