Join this study tour of Olympia to hear from Yoo Capital and learn about one of London’s largest regenerations projects, Olympia.
Olympia first opened in 1886 as an exhibition hall to share the most extraordinary spectacles. 140 years later Olympia is being transformed into a showcase for the remarkable. Olympia was acquired in 2017 by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International. From Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC, who co-designed the scheme, Olympia is a unique place, hosting huge events and exhibitions in the centre of the capital, housed in a historic site made up of a number of listed buildings, surrounded by a large residential community.
With over 30 new cafes, restaurants and bars, two new hotels (by citizen and Hyatt Regency), the largest new purpose built theatre in London in almost 50 years (run by Trafalgar Entertainment), a live music hall operated by AEG Presents, a new co-educational senior school, a new state-of-the-art conference centre, 550,000 sq ft of modern offices and newly pedestrianised street and squares, Olympia will not only offer a vastly improved experience to event hosts and attendees, it will also become a new destination in its own right.
This tour requires PPE to go onsite, please no skirts or dresses. As this is a working site, please note that there will be stairs on the tour.
Please note the capacity for this event is 18 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 2 tickets per organisation. If you book a space and can no longer attend please let us know as soon as possible.
