This online webinar will present the latest advancements towards the realisation of digital planning in London and will showcase key examples that can show the way forward.

London has been at the forefront of the digitisation of the planning system since launching in 2004 the London Development Database, a collaborative project between the Mayor and the London boroughs to monitor planning permissions, starts and completions across the city.

The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated this transformative process making local authorities, planners and architects work online more actively. This situation changes the way we understand accessibility to data, trust on development and communication with the public; potentially democratising and renovating the planning system forever.
