New London Architecture

Blackhorse Point

Built

A JV mixed-use regeneration for 350 homes, 50% affordable housing and new workspace. A complete urban block, part of a wider masterplan, including a 21-storey tower marking this gateway location.

A mixed-use development of 350 homes within a distinct urban block, with commercial uses at street level and residential buildings above. To the southwest the Masterplan anticipates a cluster of taller buildings including our tallest block. A retrained architectural character of elegant brickwork articulated as an appropriately proportioned grid with a 5 storey ‘crown’. The plan narrows the silhouette of certain gables whilst strengthening others, accentuating the building in the wider townscape, whilst recognising the importance of its human-scale.
