“Subject to the final planning decision, which we are hopeful is getting ever closer, we’re looking forward to commencing construction on this landmark site in mid-2022.
Hounslow has had it particularly tough during the pandemic, with the slowdown at Heathrow having a real impact. The Borough’s economy was the second-fastest growing in London in 2018/19 – a trend which went into reverse in 2020. However, we’ve seen residents and businesses working hard to bounce back, and Inland Homes is determined to play its role in supporting the community, by unlocking the benefits this unique site presents.
Everything we’re doing is intended to align with the Council’s ‘One Hounslow, Forward Together’ Recovery Plan. Whether it’s job creation, embracing active travel, creating new green public spaces or providing quality housing, we’re serious about investing in the local community and Hounslow more widely. The plans are expected to unlock over £10 million in developer contributions, up to £1.9 million in additional council tax revenue, approximately 750 jobs in construction and the supply chain, with a further 180 on-site once development is completed.
