International Quarter London

Built

Located at the gateway to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, International Quarter London is one of London’s largest new mixed-use developments.

Located at the gateway to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, International Quarter London is one of London’s largest new mixed-use developments. Gustafson Porter + Bowman’s landscape masterplan covers the entire development and is comprised of a sequence of green public realm spaces and plazas. From small and intimate gardens to large events areas, it is this flexibility that makes IQL both a desirable area to visit whilst providing a new urban green place to those that live and work there.

This project is featured alongside our Public London: Activating the City insight study. The publication, exhibition and online project directory explore what constitutes a successful and democratic public realm today, the role of co‑creation and partnerships, and how we can ensure that places are fit‑for‑purpose in the long term.
