Keybridge House

Built

Keybridge public realm design has successfully knit together existing amenities with 415 new homes, offices and primary school fostering a new community and an attractive, healthy place.

Keybridge House is part of the extensive Nine Elms regeneration scheme in London. Previously home to the BT Telephone Exchange, the new mixed use development has delivered 415 homes, a primary school, office space and retail units. The new public realm design vision by Planit has been central to successfully knitting together existing city parks, a church, urban farm, community centre + garden and pub. It has fostered a strong sense of community and created an attractive, healthy place to dwell in this regenerated part of London for future generations.

This project is featured alongside our Public London: Activating the City insight study. The publication, exhibition and online project directory explore what constitutes a successful and democratic public realm today, the role of co‑creation and partnerships, and how we can ensure that places are fit‑for‑purpose in the long term.
