This project includes a conversion of the disused newsagent’s shop and flat above at the end of the existing block of flats with a two storey new-build element on the corner of Scales Road and Chesnut Grove. The current shop conversion design provides two new family dwellings and the new-build proposal will provide two further family dwellings including a fully wheelchair accessible flat at ground floor level. Each apartment will have front garden spaces for secure cycle and bin storage and either a private garden or outdoor terrace.
