Sculpture in the City is an annual sculpture park that uses the urban realm as a rotating gallery space. The project is celebrating a 12th Edition with 18 artworks the Square Mile until 2024
The temporary project explores inclusive design, equity and public spaces as well as the involvement of under-represented communities in city making. The project comprised a series of co-designing activities across East London and in the Smithfield area with disabled artists and architects and schools children, that brought people together. The resulting sustainably designed seats and table created accessible site improvements, a temporary event space and an associated programme of activities.
