With a mixture of residential loft-style and single-story apartments, a hotel, and three sky gardens carved out of the building’s profile, The Stratford represents a new model for high-rise living.

With a dramatic series of sky gardens, this unconventional tower creates a new kind of vertical community and a landmark for the area. Manhattan Loft Gardens is located in Stratford, on the site of the 2012 Summer Olympics. The distinctive 42-storey building’s exterior is defined by two diagonal slices carved out of the tower, with residential levels cantilevered above. The deep cutaways are inset with landscaped sky gardens. All residents share these elevated green spaces to encourage interaction between neighbours. The cantilevered design transforms the gardens into column-free vantage points, common spaces with uncommon views.

As well as a mix of loft-style and single-story residential apartments, the building also incorporates a boutique hotel and two restaurants, a combination of functions that turns the building into a social engine. The social role is most pronounced in the lobby, a generous social space where residents, hotel guests and visitors intermingle.

The building comprises over 60 different apartment types to bring together a diverse community and includes a mix of purchased and rental tenancies. Importantly, residents have access to all the amenities available to hotel guests.
