The Westworks completes a campus of buildings in White City, west London, and sits within an area at the inner edge of Zone 2, next to the rapidly developing White City masterplan site.
Originally designed in the 1980s as an administrative headquarters, Westworks had endured significant wear and tear. A series of interventions were designed to make the building function better, increase lettable space and improve the aesthetic. The project is a prime example of sustainable development in that it involved extending the life of a dilapidated building to provide high quality adaptable commercial accommodation.
