Brett is the Head of Planning & Building Control and interim Programme Director for the Council house programme (HRA) at London Borough of Redbridge.

 

As interim Programme Director he is the lead for the HRA programme (Council commitment to build 1000 new affordable Council homes by 2023) overseeing Housing, Capital, Regeneration, Legal, Property and Communication Services. 

 

He has a degree and diploma in City and Regional Planning and post graduate qualifications in urban design and management. He has been selected and completed the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) springboard leadership programme (2017/18).  He has an active Member of the Planning Futures Cross Party Government Think Tank and Peer Officer for Planning Advisory Service and Local Government Association.
