Agnieszka has over 25 years of experience in place making as a practitioner, academic teacher and researcher. She oversees regeneration programmes at London Borough of Tower Hamlets and is a Professor of Architecture and Town Planning at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. As a researcher, Agnieszka’s publications reflect her interests in quality of spatial development, urban management in metropolitan regions, and visual language in strategic planning. Agnieszka has been involved in planning policy making for urban intensification, local character, tall buildings, views; provided design advice for strategic developments such as: former gas-works sites of Marian Place, Leven Road, Bow Common in Tower Hamlets. Her notable work includes Connected Croydon Programme, and currently the Lea Valley Bridges, Isle of Dogs & South Poplar Open Spaces Programmes and Estate Regeneration Pathway. She is a part of Design PLACE Review for Brighton and Hove, and Design South-East design advice.
