Ken draws on a wealth of construction and technical knowledge to overcome challenges as they arise. Ken champions a design that is well coordinated and considered ensuring it is translatable to on-site activities, delivering best value and a great defect free environment for the final occupiers.
Since joining Mace in 2015, Ken has taken senior leadership positions on major projects, such as the redevelopment of Tottenham Hotspur FC Football Stadium focusing on the delivery of the complex roof structure within an incredibly short time frame.
Prior to joining Mace, Ken had a 16-year career with Sir Robert McAlpine delivering a variety of challenging design and build projects across various sectors including the commercial, residential, retail and industrial. In 2014 Ken undertook the role of project director on the first phase of the Selfridges Transformation Project. The scheme involved the refurbishment of the famous store located on London’s busy Oxford Street. Ken successfully managed the practicalities of this complex refurbishment to a unique set of buildings in a busy retail environment. His meticulous planning meant that normal business operations remained largely unaffected.
