Lucy has been an architect for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of architectural practices from a small eight person practice to a large international practice. At university and in practice Lucy has focussed on sustainability and is a qualified BREEAM Assessor & BREEAM AP.
She was board director of aLL Design Architects where she worked for ten years with Will Alsop before joining Places for London as Quality & Design Manager via Public Practice, a not-for-profit social enterprise that places architects and built environment professionals in local authorities. Lucy’s role at Places for London as Quality & Design Manager is to embed design and sustainability into the organisation’s development programme. She led the development of a Design Guide for Places for London’s railway arch portfolio and delivered its Sustainable Development Framework.
Lucy volunteered with LETI on the creation of a Client Guide to Zero Carbon Buildings published in 2021 and is a member of the ULI European Sustainability Council.
