Sara is a Partner at FCBStudios and one of our London Group Leaders. She has been with the practice since 1998, and enjoys a long-established involvement in mixed-use, community and educational projects.
Sara heads up our Urban Design team and enjoys a long-established involvement in mixed-use, community and educational residential projects.
Passionate about issues associated with modern living in dense urban settlements, her work in recent years has mainly focused on developing complex projects for existing and new communities in and around London. She has wide experience of public consultation processes and has repeatedly represented the practice during the engagement of complex and varied stakeholder groups, local authorities and review panels.
Her many successfully completed projects include the Royal Wharf Primary School in Newham and the City of London Academy Shoreditch Park, forming part of the Britannia masterplan, delivering also 400 new homes and a new Leisure Centre for the London Borough of Hackney. Other recent projects include the Camley Street mixed-use masterplan for Camden Council and the masterplan of Church Street Public Realm for Westminster City Council.
Sara is also a long-standing member of FCBStudios Research and Innovation Group and has been a tutor at the University of Bath School of Architecture, a mentor at the Royal College of Art, and recently she has been a member of the Camden Design Review Panel.
