Stephen Gleave is the Regional Cities Lead for Manchester, at AECOM. An urban designer and town planner, with over 30 years’ experience in Manchester and the North West, Stephen is passionate about how places are shaped through infrastructure, built form, economics, politics and the communities they serve. Most recently he played a key role in advising on the Mayoral Development Corporation in Greater Manchester for Stockport, which will provide an additional 3,500 homes in the town centre, and the strategic regeneration framework for Wigan Council. At AECOM, Stephen is responsible for planning and managing initiatives throughout the Manchester city region, connecting key stakeholders and decision makers across the public and private sector as well as investment clients.
