Tom is a Director at Heyne Tillett Steel and leads a team working across various projects and sectors. He enjoys the technical aspects of the job and is heavily involved in all of his projects. For him, the thrill of seeing HTS’s designs being built on site is what engineering is all about, driving him and his team to be proactive and involved throughout construction.

 

With over 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, Tom has worked on projects ranging from large mixed-use developments and complex refurbishments to bespoke farm houses. He has significant experience in developing designs over and around buried infrastructure and designing with engineered timber, recently leading the structural design of Timber Square, Europe’s largest commercial project using CLT.
