Net Zero

Building a Resilient and Zero-Carbon London

London is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2030, with all new buildings to be net zero carbon by 2030 and existing buildings by 2050. Achieving these targets requires a focus on retrofit, adopting circular economy principles, decarbonising the grid, reducing embodied carbon, and increasing green infrastructure.

For the past 20 years, NLA has supported these key priorities by bringing together professionals and decision-makers from the built environment to share best practices and accelerate the adoption of climate solutions. The NLA Net Zero programme drives action, helping drive the shift to a low-carbon, resilient future.
