Harringay Warehouses - New London Awards 2023 Winner
Winner in the Mixed Use Category
The proposals represent the culmination of a long and involved process involving landowner, residents, and the Council.
Occupying a prominent site at the entrance to the Harringay Warehouse District the proposals will see the delivery of the first purpose-built contemporary Warehouse Living development.
In response to the brief it is a proposal that seeks to capture both the essence and industrial character of existing warehouse living, whilst satisfying all contemporary building, fire and environmental standards, whilst ensuring that it remains affordable to existing and new warehouse residents.
The project, which will see the delivery of 13 new warehouse living units, workspaces, artists’ studios and associated landscape works also forms part of a wider masterplanning initiative aimed at securing the longer-term sustainability of this part of the District. It is also an excellent example of joint Council and developer collaboration.
