Andrew has worked for the practice for nearly 30 years and was made an Associate Partner in 2011. Andrew’s work investigating how modern methods of manufacture can be used in housing and school design, was demonstrated in the Design for Manufacture competition. This system of volumetric, off-site manufacture has since been deployed at Y:Cube in Mitcham London, providing one bed studios for young people unable to afford private rent; and most recently at PLACE/Ladywell Lewisham, where urban brownfield land is being utilized to provide 24 homes for local families in housing need. Currently, Andrew is working on the development of similar flexible housing schemes in Lewisham and the UK.
