Celie Hanson is part of the team leading on the British Film Commission’s (BFC) Stage Space Support and Development (SSSD) strategy. The BFC is the UK Government’s national organisation responsible for supporting inward investment film and high-end television production in the UK.

The SSSD strategy provides a single source of expert guidance for key studio and stage space stakeholders, offering targeted support to facilitate an increased provision of studio facilities throughout the UK. Celie works closely with these stakeholders, alongside their respective national and regional screen agencies. She has also been working with specialist studio consultants and practitioners to develop key stage space design research, for the future and sustainable growth of the UK’s studio infrastructure.

Celie is now expanding her work with the BFC to support business and industry development, strengthening and promoting UK-wide infrastructure, and championing and signposting their offering to BFC production clients.
