Dee is a Chartered Engineer who enjoys the challenges of working on complex urban sites. She is passionate about maximising the potential of existing buildings through retaining and repurposing the structure, and combines intelligent engineering and low carbon design to deliver the best solution for each project. 

 

With her extensive experience of complex refurbishment as well as new build projects, Dee is the project lead on Timber Square, a 50,000sqm commercial development involving the refurbishment of a 1950’s print hall and new 16-storey building with double basement. The project uses hybrid construction utilising CLT floors on steel beams to reduce embodied carbon in development. Dee recently completed 42-46 Princelet Street with Piercy & Co, the substantial refurbishment and extension of an existing Victorian warehouse to create co-working and private office space.
