Marina is a landscape architect and urban planner with over a decade of experience in strategic urban planning and placemaking. She has led the delivery of innovative urban strategies, including the first night-time economy guidance and contributions to industrial intensification and design approaches. Recognised for her contributions to advancing gender-equitable design and planning, she has led four years of pioneering research on setting policies and development frameworks to create places that work for women and girls. She previously held senior roles at the Mayor of London’s development corporations, where she worked on the regeneration of two major sites, including the 2012 London Olympic Games.
