Michael Gozo is an urban practitioner working in architecture and planning, who began his career in socially-oriented architecture practices in Kigali, Rwanda and London, before taking up broader built environment-focused policy roles, including at the Local Government Information Unit and planning policy and public health at Southwark Council. Since joining the Greater London Authority in 2021 he has worked in housing policy, leading on the Mayor’s £126m Refugee Housing programme, and supporting the Kerslake review of GLA Group housing delivery. He is currently leading the housing team within the London Plan team at the GLA.
