After an early career with Unilever, Nigel left to set up in business on his own in 1982, specialising in commercial real estate investment and project finance.

He has now added a wide range of business interests and organised, with David Phillips, the acquisition of Retirement Village in 2005 from its founding owners. Nigel now serves as Retirement Villages’ executive chairman and works closely with the firm’s other board members to deliver high quality retirement villages and care homes, where residents can enjoy carefree retirement living in friendly, sociable communities.
