Vanessa is Founder and Chair of AbilityRE (Ability in Real Estate).  AbilityRE is a non-profit organisation, founded to drive inclusion, awareness and opportunities for people within the Real Estate and Built Environment sectors who have disability, neurodiversity, mental ill-health or long-term health conditions.  

Vanessa is also a Senior Director in CBRE’s Occupier Accounts business.  She is a Chartered Surveyor by background, with over 19 years of industry experience.  She is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and sits on RICS Governing Council.  

Vanessa has ADHD (with some autistic traits) and is proud parent and advocate for two neurodiverse sons.  Vanessa has been listed as Workplace Leaders Top 50 List 2024, Top Neurodiversity Evangelist 2023 by ‘Neurodiversity by Design’ and BizNow ‘Women Changing the Face of Real Estate in 2023”
