ChatNLA: the new age of AI

Talk

Thursday 14 September 2023
18:30 - 20:30

AI has arrived and is marking a new technological era. What does this mean for the industry and how can we adapt?
We are on the brink of a technological revolution and its impact on the built environment will be significant. AI can be used to capture detailed data that can be applied to city planning, improve access to health and education, encourage smarter ways of living and plays an important role in reducing carbon emissions. Some AI platforms are already widely adopted across the industry, Midjourney and ChatGPT can generate photo-realistic architectural visualisations and technical descriptions that would normally require much longer time frames to generate the same results.

With the rise of AI platforms, the industry is being challenged to think about technological adaptation and how these technological breakthroughs will revolutionize the architectural landscape, so how should we be preparing for change?

Join this talk to hear from leading industry professionals discussing the latest updates and learnings of AI and the future of digital technologies in architecture and planning.
