Islington is a densely populated and diverse Inner-London borough, where rich and poor residents live in very close proximity to each other.
As part of its overall aim of making Islington a fairer place, the council has made providing more decent and affordable family homes a priority across all sectors.
The council is also committed to developing its own housing, with over 100 new homes either completed or on site, with some 30 schemes in the pipeline providing over 300 new homes by 2015.
We pride ourselves on the quality and creativity of our schemes, which often make innovative use of otherwise unloved areas such as infills, derelict car parks and undercroft garages.
