Fletcher Priest Architects’ redesign of One Exchange Square reimagines an existing post-modern office building as a contemporary and sustainable workspace in a connected, lively part of the City of London, with M3 Consulting acting as the Development Manager. Our design involves the creation of 420,000 sqft of high-quality workspace and 15,000 sqft of retail. Having designed the original masterplan for the Bishopsgate quadrant of Broadgate, Fletcher Priest have returned to this area of the City following successful interventions at 135 and 155 Bishopsgate. Our work has transformed this location from office monoculture to an all-hours destination, reactivating the street and extending the life of two major buildings. Generous internal volumes, opening windows and plant-filled entrances and atria will contribute to a healthier working environment. Roof extensions will form a new contemporary silhouette and provide higher quality space for occupants with outdoor terraces.

Vote for this project in the ‘People’s Choice Award’. The voting deadline is 1 November 2022.
