Jo McCafferty is the Chair of the NLA Expert Panel on Housing and director of housing specialists Levitt Bernstein. She sits down with Peter Murray to discuss the current work of Levitt Bernstein in Islington and what affect the pandemic is having on design. Jo says that Covid-19 and home working has made the value of good housing clearer and make the principles of good design come down to the detail. 

She addresses concerns in the delivery of high quality housing regarding the under-resourced local authorities, both in terms skills and resources in addition planning departments.  However, Jo is highly positive about the quality of design when it comes to 'Net Zero Carbon' and how these standards have been implemented.
