The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters - New London Awards 2024 Winner
Winner in the wellbeing category
Sitting adjacent to The Salvation Army’s Grade-II listed, Giles Gilbert Scott-designed training college in Denmark Hill, this new territorial headquarters is an elegant, sustainable home for the organisation, designed to reflect its values.
The Salvation Army’s new headquarters arose from a vision for a comfortable, flexible, and health-promoting workplace. Natural daylight floods the atrium, complemented by biophilic design and facilities encouraging cycling to work. Longevity was paramount, mirroring the historic significance of the William Booth College.
