Alasdair Graham
Alasdair Graham joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2015, becoming a Director in 2019. Alasdair assists the studio’s project architects and teams to ensure a focused and investigative approach to design that is embedded in the practice’s larger body of work. During his time with the practice Alasdair has led a wide variety of projects and design competitions for the practice, including the new Parliamentary Precinct in Ottawa, the Dunard Centre concert hall in Edinburgh as well as the LSE Firoz Lalji Global Hub and the transformation of the Grade II listed US Embassy building at 30 Grosvenor Square, both in London. 

With over 20 years’ professional experience, Alasdair has worked internationally for offices including Harry Gugger Studio, OMA and Zaha Hadid Architects. He has experience at all stages and scales on a wide range of project types. Alasdair studied architecture at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, London.
