Alex is a place-based strategist and innovator. She pioneers new practices in asset management and workspace / community space for social good. She has strong track record of delivering structures, governance models and vehicles that respond to their local context and ensure inclusive growth in communities.

She has a broad range experience having worked in the public, voluntary and private sectors and in complex organisations, with multiple stakeholders, in political environments. In 2023, she launched a new consultancy, Augarde & Partners (A&P), with colleagues Paul Augarde and Daniel McCarthy. A&P advises clients in the built environment on inclusive place strategies and sustainable delivery models. 

As well as being a consultant, she continues to work directly with mission driven organisations to further their aims. An excellent communicator that builds effective organisations and partnerships through collaboration, inspiration and energy.
