Alice Brownfield is a Director at Peter Barber Architects - a practice renowned for a number of ground-breaking urban social housing and homelessness projects.
The practice has twice been UK Housing Architect of the Year and is a recipient of the Royal Academy Grand Prize for Architecture. In 2016 PBA’s Holmes Road Homeless Hostel won the NLA Building of the Year. During her time at PBA Alice has worked on a number of high profile award winning homelessness projects including Mount Pleasant and Holmes Road Hostel for the London Borough of Camden. At the heart of all PBA’s work is the belief that architecture can create the potential for social action and activity.
