In 1997-2005 Andrea was Owner of ZERO Couriers, London's first cargobike courier company, proving financial viability of concept, saving several tonnes of CO2 - sold to riders co-op.

In 2012 he became owner of Velorution, London's premier urban cycling shop, probably unique in having a 50-50 gender ratio among customers. He founded Vision Zero London in 2014, whose goal is the introduction of Vision Zero concepts: the Transport authorities take responsibility of road safety by designing streetscape that takes human fallibility into account.
