Andrew Leiper
Andrew joined Max Fordham in 2005 with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen. He became a Partner in April 2009.

As an Engineering Team Leader, Andrew is a senior engineer with responsibility for managing the output of his team across a number of projects. An experienced Engineer in his own right, he has contributed to or run a number of notable Max Fordham projects.

Andrew was the Project Engineer responsible for our work on the proposals for the Peacock Visual Arts Centre in Aberdeen. He has also worked on a variety of projects throughout the UK including schools in Inverclyde, Glasgow’s award winning Theatre Royal extension, and the Olympic Water Polo Venue for London 2012. 

Andrew has been responsible for numerous housing projects, including Hollybrook Homes’ Suttons Wharf North, Redrow Homes’ Lymington Shores, Hyde Housing’s Spa Road Development, the Rivergate Centre at Barking Riverside, Peabody’s regeneration of the St John’s Hill estate in London and Peabody’s Borough Triangle, a major mixed-use development in Southwark, London.

Andrew is a Chartered Engineer with experience of all aspects of mechanical, electrical and sustainable design, the design of BREEAM-accredited buildings and city centre regeneration projects.
 
Andrew is our net zero carbon leader and is responsible for driving forward the practice’s approach to the delivery of net zero carbon buildings.
