As a Director at John Robertson Architects, I am a passionate advocate for sustainability, retrofit and workplace design, having focussed my career on re-purposing underperforming buildings, mending the fabric of existing neighbourhoods and creating places where people love to live and work.

Net Zero and Sustainability
Prior to joining JRA in 2023, I made my mark as Associate Director and the Head of Sustainability at Conran & Partners (after previous roles at Grimshaw, ORMS and Fletcher Priest Architects), spearheading Conran´s joint effort approach to sustainable design and continue to champion a regenerative and forward-thinking approach to designing built environment projects.
I am contributing my experience to the development of the UK NZCBS in the Office Embodied Carbon Sector and the Delineation Group. 
I worked with Overbury on the study “Counting the upfront carbon in Cat B office fit out”, analysing the embodied carbon of the average Cat B  fitout. 
I am working with FIS on the CAT A Impact Study to establish the carbon impact of the transition from Cat A to Cat B.
I am Certified Passivhaus Designer, listed on the RIBA Conservation Register, a member of the Sustainable Design Collective and Don’t Waste Buildings. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience more widely within the industry as part of industry wide research or to grow the next generation of architects.
