Annabel Precious MEng (Hons), MICE, CEng, is a Director at Civic Engineers. A chartered Civil Engineer with 22 years’ experience, Annabel is skilled in transport planning, engineering and design. She is passionate about the design and implementation of sustainable transport infrastructure within the built environment, so our current and next generations are encouraged and empowered to travel in a more sustainable way. 

Her experience goes beyond the subject areas traditionally covered by highway engineers and transport planners, into what can best be described as ‘placemaking and movement engineering’. 

Annabel has worked on numerous local, regional and International transport related projects. Through her work she has developed an excellent understanding of strategic and detailed issues relevant to transport planning in both urban and rural environments. 

Annabel has a natural curiosity for and logical approach to problem solving, and believes there is opportunity for active travel solutions to be embedded into every street.
